WATERSHED fea­tures a new song cycle com­posed by Ailís Ní Ríain and is per­formed by con­tral­to Julie Com­par­i­ni and pianist Yonit Kosovske. The cycle con­tains five songs on poet­ry from Jes­si­ca Brown’s book ‘And Say’ in a pro­found explo­ration of the human rela­tion­ship with land and water, with a spe­cial focus on areas in the west of Ire­land. The album also includes poet­ry read­ings inter­wo­ven with sound­scapes along and near Lough Derg in coun­ties Clare and Tipperary.

Chrome Attic is a CD of solo chro­mat­ic key­board music from 17th cen­tu­ry Italy and Ger­many, per­formed by harp­si­chordist Yonit Kosovske. This record­ing is part of Yonit’s long-term Chrome Attic project and series explor­ing musi­cal chro­mati­cism and chiaroscuro in paint­ing and photography.
